Frequently asked questions
Does the app calculate taxes or take-home pay?
No. It estimates gross pay from the shifts and rules you enter.
Does a difference prove my employer made an error?
No. A difference is a cue to review your inputs and official records. Your contract, pay stub, employer records, and applicable local law are the authoritative sources.
Does the app know local overtime law?
No. You choose the optional weekly threshold and multiplier. The app does not contain a wage-law database.
Does the app connect to payroll or my employer?
No. The current product does not connect to an employer, payroll provider, bank, or tax service.
Where is my data stored?
The current product code stores app records in local device storage. See the product privacy policy for the complete audit.
Report a calculation issue
First check the job, rate bucket, pay-period boundaries, shift start and end times, breaks, and overtime rule. If the result still looks wrong, email 15564412316@163.com with a small, synthetic example that reproduces the issue. You may attach an exported CSV only if you have reviewed it and are comfortable sharing its contents.
Report a bug
Email 15564412316@163.com with your iPhone model, iOS version, app version, what you expected, what happened, and the steps needed to reproduce it. Screenshots are optional. Remove personal or employer information you do not need to share.
Delete your data
River Apps does not hold a server copy of Shift Pay Audit records. Removing the app deletes its local app container. If unreadable local data is detected, the in-app recovery screen also offers a start-fresh option after you have had an opportunity to export a raw backup. Because we do not hold a remote copy, emailing us cannot delete data stored only on your device.
